Description

We took our fan-favorite weekend hiker and dressed it up for everyday wear. This casual lace-up offers the same Targhee fit, traction, and comfort, plus a smooth, premium leather upper and breathable lining. Weighing 15.87 oz / 500 g (per shoe), made with durable, waterproof leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining, the KEEN Men’s Targhee 3 Oxford Casual Hiking Shoe is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. KEEN products are consciously created using a natural, pesticide-free probiotic-based technology called Eco Anti-Odor for breaking down odor in sweat, PFC-free water repellent (in applicable styles) and leather sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG)-certified tanneries. KEEN makes shoes to make a difference. From the products it makes, to the actions the it takes, KEEN inspires people to live and work monumental every day. As a brand born for life outside, KEEN has a responsibility to protect and conserve the places where all people live, play and work.

Bought two pairs of Keen shoes in the same order. One pair of the Targhee III slip-on mules, and one pair of the Targhee III Oxfords. The Targhee III Oxfords in Mens size 11 Wide are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned straight out of the box, no break-in needed. If you have wide feet, buy these with confidence. They are fantastic. The slip-ons, however, are unwearable - not nearly wide enough, and painful - not just uncomfortable, but painful. They're going back.I can not speak to quality as this is a brand-new out of the box review, but I have owned various Keen workboots and safety shoes over the years for field and on site work, and they have all been more than adequate in the quality of build department. Hoping Keen casual footwear follows suit. This is my 4th pair of Keen Targhee shoes The first three pairs became unusable after the soft leather loops started breaking. The oxford style is a vast improvement in the design. They are worn almost every day. All pairs of Keen shoes I purchased were comfortable from the beginning. If the eyelets hold up so that I can wear out the soles or tops, I will hapily upgrade to 5 stars.Fit perfect & very comfortableGreat shoe and very comfortable for all day use.I bought two pairs of shoes for my husband to take on a trip to Iceland: the Keen Men's Targhee 3 Oxford casual hiking shoe and the Salomon Men's X Ultra 3 hiking shoe. The plan was to keep the pair he liked better and return the other, unless he loved both. I expected him to prefer the Salomons, since he likes their trail-running shoes. The Keens arrived a day ahead of the Salomons and he tried them on right away. He was thrilled with the fit and comfort and started wearing them around the neighborhood (so much for returning them, lol). I should note that he's 6'4" and about 210 pounds, with arthritis in his knees and both plantar fasciitis and Morton's neuroma in both feet. I had to nag him for a day to make him try on the Salomons; when he finally did, he took them back off without even standing up. He said, "These, you can return."I'm giving the Keens four stars since it's only been a couple of days, and three stars for water resistance since that hasn't been tested yet. I'll update if the trip to Iceland warrants any changes. My heart beets fore keen. These boots /shoes fit and you don’t need to break them in. They r comfort as soon as you place them on you foote!!CalidadNot as good as the Targhee 2.Super comfortable shoeI loved these keen Oxford shoes when I purchased them. Very wide toe and great for my foot arthritis. However after just two months the stitching started to break and the sole of the shoes started letting in water. I've only worn these to work and only in light rain. I've not hiked in them or even worn them on wet grass. These shoes are not fit for purpose. I am so disappointed that I spent so much money expecting a quality shoe and ended up with something that is only fit for the bin.I had already worn-out two sets of Keens shoes through frequent use over perhaps five years and so ordered this set in the same size through Amazon. Arrived promptly and exactly as specified. They really are an outstanding set of shoes for a combination of winter walking in town and not too muddy countryside. Incredibly comfortable, easy to put on and take off, laces that grip , great walking soles. They are somewhat more expensive than some alternatives but I really think the quality shows through both immediately and over time. You can be disappointed in bad quality bought cheaper over a long time! Strongly recommendedAlways a bit wary of buying footwear online, regarding fit. I find the Keen shoes to be a very good fit and comfortable straight out of the box, after wearing them for a few hours and miles they needed no breaking in and no blisters.I am that pleased that I have ordered a pair of Keen Targhee III Wp Low Rise Hiking Shoes, as a replacement for an old pair of hiking shoe's.Nice comfortable and wide fit. Bought these as work shoes at a desk job. Im a bit dubious about hiking in them. The ankle collar(?) felt uncomfortable at first but seems to have broken in. I like Keen for the wide fit but it would be nice if the soles were firmer, like a vibram sole. Used them briefly in the rain and are not waterproof.Used for summer walking; Keen always give me the best fit but these trainers (similar to Keen boots bought lately) don’t seem to have enough sole padding, you are very aware of the tread pattern pressing into your foot. Disappointing after previous Keen products and a victim of cost cutting no doubt!
